Fused Leads protect
against common user error
As a result
of the investigations into multimeter incidents, ESA commissioned
a series of tests to simulate the impact of using fused
leads as a protective measure. Fused leads used
with multimeters prevented possible catastrophic results when
the meter was used in an inappropriate way or experienced
an internal failure.
The
Electrical Safety Authority of Ontario (ESA) have recently
started mailing out a coupon
to each ECRA / ESA registered electrical contractor in Ontario.
 |
Each
contractor will receive a waiver
form with his coupon, that must be signed and turned
over to the redeeming distributor
with their coupon and old set of leads.
If
you need more than one set of leads, or do not qualify
for a coupon but wish to purchase a set of leads, they
will be available and may be ordered for a price around
$70.00 per set.
